1、 Structure and working principle of generator set

500kw diesel generator set is composed of diesel engine, three-phase AC brushless synchronous generator, control panel, chassis and other components. The diesel engine flywheel is connected with the driving end of the generator through an elastic coupling, and the external part is connected with the connecting housing of the generator through the diesel engine flywheel housing, which is jointly installed on the common chassis through the shock absorber; The control panel is installed on the common chassis through the shock absorber, which is convenient for users to install, use and maintain.

The diesel engine for the unit is produced by Yuchai Co., Ltd. The intake mode of diesel engine is turbocharged and intercooled diesel engine, which is a water-cooled, 6-cylinder L-type, direct injection combustion chamber high-speed diesel engine. Its speed is 1500r/min, the speed regulation mode is electronic speed regulation, and the starting mode is DC24V electric starting.

The generator for the unit is Stanford SHSTF brand three-phase AC brushless synchronous generator. The generator is a horizontal, self-excited, constant voltage, brushless AC synchronous generator. The brushless generator uses a rotating armature type AC excitation generator to provide excitation power, which is rectified by a rotating rectifier and then provided to the main generator excitation winding. The power between the armature winding and the excitation winding of the generator in this structure is transferred by a rotating magnetic field. There is no mechanical contact part and no electric spark will be generated. The automatic voltage regulator is used to control the voltage. Therefore, The generator has excellent voltage performance index, reliable operation and simple maintenance, which can meet the requirements of high electricity use.
